As for movie roles, I think you would be excellent as Clary Fray in the Mortal Instruments movie, Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter, and Mel Stryder in the upcoming 'Host' movie (Stephenie Meyer's book)

I love your music and your creativity. it sucks that you have to conform a little to get your music out there and heard so that you can continue to make music. @SUMkeyes not to sound rude or anything, but suggesting Alexz to stick w/ acting although her passion and calling/purpose is clearly making music just because it might be a save move, is not very wise lol...trust me I have been there I went with the safer bet when it came to my career instead of doing what I was passionate about. It didn't fulfill me and didn't make me truly happy, I liked my job but I still felt empty and well in the end it ended not very well (blessing in disguise)...
Alexz knows what she wants, she is driven and can make it, it's hard and might not get any easier for a while but she is strong and has amazing people in her life that are there for her and are helping her.
So no matter how long it'll take she gets her exposure and radio play :.
And if ya ask me I prefer seeing her music in stores than see her acting, 'casue talent like her is rare! |

I was a child singer and now songwriter and i treated it as an hobby. i don't count on it anymore.
i suggest to you to concentrate on your acting career; you already have your foot into the door,and you're a very talented and i feel that someday after you've done more movies you'll have more power to influence these burocrats control freaks of the music industry that don't know the difference between a good song from a bad one.
if you listen to the crap that's on commercial radio station, the music industry really needs a shake up to restore law and order. The ministers for the arts and music need to get involved and do something about it in the name of music because a lot of new comers with decent song are not getting the space and "Fair Go" as we say in australia to receive equal share of air-space artists that should be retiring or dead artists that should only be played on radio and remembered on the week when they died and not everyday of the week.
so program managers have no excuse at all why new artists shouldnt be allowed to compete. (single ladies for ex.) call that a song? what the **** is it? it's even irritable for the disables.
Repetitive shit like that that carries on and on and on, will make you question how f***** the music industry has become even if u had an entire new style on music it would be difficult to even get the attention of a music producer.

I read on a post earlier that your back working with Toby Gad again, great news for us fans. The material that you two made for Epic was awesome, it really showcased your amazing voice. I am just really hoping in a future album we get to hear the full "Wings of a Dove", just hearing the clip on YouTube isn't enough. Your voice is unbelievable on that track.

| Hey! Okay, I know I'm late, but I jut found out you released an album and just got it. Let me just tell you... LOVES! "Gonna Get It" is my ultimate fave. Loving the overall sound of the album... It's different from the sound from "Instant Star" and truly defines you as Alexz the artist, and not Alexz who plays Jude. Ahh! I love it. I'm so mad I didn't know this was released in March! I don't know where I've been. lol. Anyway, just wanted to give you your well deserved props. Maybe I'll catch a show of yours in the Northern California area soon? |
