I tweet you all the time, but realized you can't see them because I have to keep my twitter private ... but I am always looking to your music for inspiration and right now, rockin out to voodoo and maybe quite possibly some old school instant star tracks as well as I apply for jobs. Well, I was listening to the song 'Mary' and also some older albums from The Who etc. and I thought that it would be pretty cool to see you write an album that was character-based.
Each song would be about a specific 'personality' with some about 'events' and in the end their somehow all connected to each other, creating a piecemeal novel of sorts, kind of like Les Miserables but with music.
Idk, I have weird thoughts like this when I don't get enough sleep. |

So I must say when I first heared of you remixing "voodoo" I was not only concerned about how you must feel, since you are doing it mainly because of the radio play, but also because I usually don't like remixes. When you told us Demo is doing it it kind of calmed my nerves lol. His work is great he knows what he is doing and gets the feel and vibe for the songs.
And since you are still in control I'm happy. I came to the conclusion, "what is better then having 2 dif. versions of one of you favorite records? I can now listen to it even more than before just with a dif musical background lol". As long as the vibe still exists that you had envisioned I think it'll be great...It's still sad that you have to do a remix, but unfortunately the world and art is changing and people don't appreciate the good thinks anymore :.
I pray and hope that after the remix you will get the radio play you need to play more shows and get known.

Hello alexz! I just wanted to tell you something that happened to me last night: I was thinking about the improtant people in my life, my family, friends, my boyfriend... and you came to my mind, obviously, you were the first singer that I like, when I as little I used to watched So Weird, and that's where I heard you singing for the first time. I noticed you were different, when I heard "'cause your watching over me", "never give up" or "dreaming bout you". Then with Instant Star, I was inspires to get more into the music world, and I started to take singing and guitar lessons. Because of you I discovered the world of music, and that's something that will keep me thankfull with you forever.

I was blown away by your voice when I first heard it (On IS in '06) and damn, do I wish I'd discovered you earlier xD I quickly caught up with your days on So Weird and when I heard YOUR music, gosh, it's hard to explain. I can only say that I had never heard anything like it. You inspire me. If there was one talent I wish I had, it would be songwriting (and also guitar haha but I'm too much of a perfectionist for that). You take what so many of us are feeling inside and make beautiful music out of it.

Alexz, I know you probably get messages like this a billion times in one day, but I hope you read this.
I have loved you ever since I first started watching Instant Star and I was really sad when it ended. Reading IS fanfiction is actually what got me into writing lyrics. Writing songs that I could hear Jude singing. I started writing them a couple years back when I was about 12 or 13.
Unfortunately I can't sing, so my lyrics are just words. I'd love to show you some of them, get your opinion on if they are good or not, if you were ever willing to just take a few minutes to read some.
Anyways, I really love you and your music. But I live in the US, so I never hear about any new releases or anything. I think it would be really cool if you could do a tour in the US. My dad is a disabled vet so we have limited income but I would find a way to raise money to go to one of your concerts.

You so need to come do a tour in the US. I can hook you up at a bar in Arkansas. My sister's ex plays at the bar all the time. And it would make all of my dreams come true to see you in person. See, when I was seven, I saw my first episode of "So Weird." And it was the episode in which you sang "Everything Feels Like New." Ever since first hearing that song, I've started my every day listening to it. I've followed your every project since then. I know that sounds a wee bit creepy, but you are my role model. You are my inspiration. I wish I could see you live, or even just talk to you online.
Can you spread some CDs around the major radio stations in the US? I think you would be really popular here. Plus, it would be really handy to be able to go to the local Wal-Mart and get your CD. Lol.
