Dear Alexz,
I have to say that I still feel a little weird about the remix of Voodoo so soon after its release. Maybe, the album would have made its way with a little more time... Remixing now might be sending a mixed message to your fans on how you feel about the album. Not to mention that you are going to have people discovering you with remixes... It just seems like a strange move to me.
But I do get you have to "play ball" to get on the radios. I do hope all the hard work pays off and that the remix will serve its purpose and get you noticed. You are truly talented and your songs are amazing, you deserve it.
On my part, I have been listening to Voodoo non-stop since it came out and I love the songs. I can feel they came straight from yours and Bren's hearts. The remixes will have to be really good for me to get use to them. But we'll see... Of course, I will be buying it, out of curiosity and because I will always be supporting you.

Al the songs are awesome, they are like "alive" and it wouldn't be fair if some of them were remixed and some of them were not. Nevertheless, I think that the second single should be out by now, and "Voodoo" would be an excellent option because it has all the essence of the album. And I have one question, my dear musician: is it going to be as tough to get as Voodoo :)?? Hahaha, I do like the remixes idea, but I think they won't be the same as the original version. I'm a huge fan of you. My adoration started with Instant Star. I loved the story. Than I searched more about you. Now, your music is a really important part in my life. I'd love to see you live, or to have one of your cd's. I'm namely from Belgium. So it's very hard to get a cd of you. I can't order them on internet, because my parents don't like that. | So I've been on vacation and had all these plans but, lol didn't get even half of it done. I met Laura last week and she talked about being on the show Instant Star. I'm in the US so I never heard of it. I watched a few episodes and wow I was taken by it. Watching the episodes I was for sure I saw you in something else before and it hits me, Smallville then it hits me again So Weird...lol So I spent my vacation running around the city tracking down a copy of each season. Just finished watching them and talent as an actress is impressive. But I think I watched it more for the music. Your voice, it's hard to describe I'd have to use the word Uncanny, very easy to the ears. I just finished listening to your album and ya your ready. The title song blew me away. I'm sure we will be seeing a lot more of you in the future. Hopefully a tour in the states. |

Alexz. I've been making music... just because I love music. Also, I been trying to break into acting. Just the usual resume builders like student films, bits, and commercials ofcourse. But recently I felt that I really portrayed a character well. I practiced so hard and really wanted to be that character because I felt so connected to the material. Have you ever recieved a feedback that was really apologetic and somewhat hopeful for a future role? Like this:

I'm sure that you're told this all the time, but you have such an incredible talent. I'm a huge fan of your voice, your lyrics, and I've been following your struggle to get your music out there. I think it's really great that you went indi with your first record, not just because of what happened with Epic, but because it gives you more street cred. I've talked a lot of people into buying your new record or looking you up because I think once they hear your voice, they'll see the talent and be one more fan backing your journey.
I would love to get the chance to see you live and meet you in person! Good luck with remixing some of your songs for the radio, you have a lot of love and support from fans and the fact that you've fought so hard for so long and keep going despite all the set backs, is just as incredible as your talent.

But if not "Mary" than probably I would vote for "Gonna get it" - it's got some much much power, and "Superstition" - I not really sure what is in that song but even my boyfriend who usually listen Eminem, Lil Wayne, Michael Jackson, he really likes this song.
And I really hope and wait for your Europe tour. I supposed you're not gonna visit Poland but still I've got hope that maybe you will visit United Kingdom where I am waiting for you!

I don't know if you actually read all of these, cause there's a lot of them to read but I just have a few things to say. I just bought Voodoo the other day off ITunes (I wanted the hard copy and even debated buying a poster too but when someone gives you an ITunes giftcard you don't complain) and I fell in love with the songs. I wanted you to know, that even though Instant Star is the reason I found your music, you have grown so much since then. You're music is amazing and inspiring and I hope you never stop. If even half of the popular musicians out there had the talent and creativity that you had then maybe main stream music wouldn't all be the same. I think the radio stations are crazy for not playing you because you my dear are a true musician. I hope someday I get to see you play live, but I live in the States and you're not around here much.
