| Dude the reason there are different genres of music is bvecause everyones taste is different. Something doesn't have to be rock to be good. I personally love just about everything Alexz has ever produced because whether its hard or soft she always delivers whats important. Heart and soul. But I guess you never bothered listening to anything that doesn't have to drill the message in forcefully, but I love what Alexz produces because it is hers and no one elses. After years of people controlling in one way or another how her creative vision comes out, I am glad to finally hear what she has to say. I was suprised by the difference too but not because it sounded fake. Because it sounded more real than ever. |
| I love Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, CCR, Pink Floyd, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Fog Hat, and many more greats....I have been playing the guitar for like four years and I love it!! But when I was in high school I remember watching a show about a chick who won a talent contest, and the music on the show rocked man, but when I looked up the singer the music was WAY different then I thought....now its not bad its great but I dont feel the rock man lol...sounds weird I know but I dont feel it. I think good music is being able to rock out and you dont give a shit whos lookin. And you cant really do that to this music. With your vocie man, you could make a killer rock band...this stuff just sounds kind of fake ya know...I dont here a wicked drum or a sick guitar with this rocken chick leading the way. Maybe I was wrong...you just do a diffrenet genre. If so then more power to ya!! I was just hopin' for something else I guess. |

Just heard Mary. WOW... I've never related to a song more than I've related to that one,and I'm not just saying that. Almost like you were writing a song about me.,I couldn't make out all of the lyrics, but the first verse and chorus were spot on. LOL. You should record it, if you wish . It also has that radio-y sound. I love it. Alexz you inspire me and I only love music b/c of you. Keep writing and jammin'.Thank God for you, you blonde blessin'! Haha.

I'm from the states, all the way down in Texas! It's pretty insane how you're know all over the world but people are too ruined to know what truly wonderful music is like. I've been searching for the perfect artist to take me away from all the terrible mainstream music that I can't escape, and I found you a few years ago. I haven't stopped listening since IS4.
It'd be amazing if you could visit the states and I'm praying you'll be able to. It's be really cool to hear more about your performances on the site or if you did some kind of a broadcast after the show was over.

I don't write many messages on the internet but after I saw you I have to do it. Some times people goes to the movie andfall in love for the actress. So that's what happend to me.
Browsing youtube trying to find something I saw an item "best romantics scenes from instant star" or others like that.
Here down in South America your serie is on tv in some countries only so I tried to find on the internet and i got all the seasons.
From the start its was amazing!. I saw it all.
To my suprise, i think during the second season, jimmy mentions my country Paraguay and the others "guays" and I thought "this guys never imagine we could see then in Paraguay".
I am a music and film fan and i never saw, such an adorable and charismatic actress and singer as you are.
Of course i got Smallville 8x11 and Strange in my face only to look at you.
Your Voodo disk is beautiful even if it is not much radio "like".
One day you will be super popular like those other comercial "singers and writers".

I would chose Hurricane Girl as the second single, and maybe even in that Orange Lounge version. I like the album version better, but the live one might be better for radio play.
And by the way: It's sad that you feel the need to change your music so that more people like it. If they don't like it the way it is right now, than that's there bad luck. |
